What we aim to achieve with this work:

We wish to link with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations that are providing support services within communities to young people suffering from Autism

What we need your assistance with:

We want research development support to determine an approach to running a national research activity to explore the breadth and depth of support available across different community contexts i.e. rural and urban.

Benefits of supporting this work:

There is a small amount of funding to cover the cost of people’s time. We anticipate the community to be 3 hours a fortnight. We will share the findings of the research once it has been completed.

How we make engagement easy:

All online and via Teams or Zoom sessions. Collaboration and development activities captured via an electronic whiteboard are accessible during and in between the online sessions.

Parameters we are working with:

There is nothing presently fixed, this is about collaborating on the building of a research approach

Timings and estimated commitment:

A 3-month timeline has been allocated to the project. This translates to roughly 18 to 20 hours of commitment ideally required from each individual.
