Help Us Shape Research with Older Men Living with Type 2 Diabetes

The opportunity:

We’re developing a project to better understand how older men living with Type 2 diabetes access information, support and services. We’re looking to work with community organisations who can help us shape the project and ensure it reflects people’s real experiences.

How organisations could get involved:

We want to design a research project that is grounded in the experiences of older men living with diabetes, particularly those who may not regularly engage with healthcare services or support programmes. By involving community organisations early, we hope to ask better questions, reach a wider range of people and generate findings that lead to practical improvements.

We want assistance in reaching people with lived experience

The opportunity:

We are looking to conduct a review of service delivery for people living with COPD and maybe in damp or poor living conditions

How organisations could get involved:

We want organisations to contact their client base, identify those who have the lived experience required, and obtain their consent to be contacted by one of our team and invited to take part in a survey.

The opportunity:

We wish to link with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations that are providing support services within communities to young people suffering from Autism

How organisations could get involved:

We want research development support to determine an approach to running a national research activity to explore the breadth and depth of support available across different community contexts i.e. rural and urban.

The opportunity:

We are looking to secure the support of adult care providers to contribute to the co-design of a new service delivery capability

We need community expertise from people working in adult care support services to bring their lived experience of client needs and insights into what does and does not work in the provision of support to help co-design a new collaborative and partner-based adult social care offer.
